Speeding - Violation of the Law and Life Safety Issue

With every additional mile per hour, you are increasing your stopping distance and reducing your ability to avoid a collision.

A long stretch of roadway, the stereo playing your favorite tunes, a little too much pressure on the accelerator… before you know it, you're exceeding the speed limit… The dangers are obvious but can easily be forgotten or ignored.

A car stops abruptly in front of you; an creature runs across the road; a child darts out into a traffic. All of these unfortunate situations and more can happen in the blink of an eye. Speed limits are set to maximize the potential for safe driving based on road type, size and conditions. TODAY and everyday monitor your speed to make sure that you are not exceeding legal limits or traveling faster than is safe for conditions
