Student Enrollment
The Pupil Services Department: -
Coordinates and standardizes practices among sites to ensure legal mandates from Education Code and Board Policy are followed -
Reviews and updates Kindergarten Enrollment Packet annually -
Advises on content or mandated annual notifications and propose revisions -
Survey's elementary site enrollment numbers and, together with Assistant Superintendent of Educational Services and Senior Human Resources Director, align staffing and enrollment -
Conducts home visits as needed and other investigations to establish ongoing residence -
Oversees and advises sites on extraordinary enrollment issues -
Affidavits of Residence and Responsibility -
Declarations of Residency -
Establishment of Allen Bill residence via parent/guardian’s work address -
Inter-District Transfer -
Intra-District Transfer -
Promotes attendance improvement -
Meets bi-monthly with elementary and secondary school’s SASI-Users to standardize data record keeping procedures
