Project NEST (After School Program)

 

An After School Education and Safety (ASES) grant program serving students at Graham Elementary, Schilling Elementary and Newark Junior High School. Current total enrollment of 225 students. NEST functions with the partnership of Newark Unified School District and the City of Newark.

  • Oversee, coordinate and implement student enrollment

  • Oversee , support and provide training to NEST Staff

  • Provide classroom supplies, equipment and other items needed

  • Coordinate with NUSD Child Nutrition Services for a daily nutritious snack for student participants

  • Manage budgets related to Project NEST

  • Compile and submit Semi-Annual and Annual State Reports
