Textbooks are adopted on a state curriculum cycle by the district from a list of materials approved by the state of California. Each time textbooks are adopted, professional development is offered on units of study and stratgegies in using the materials. All textebooks and materials that are adopted and approved are aligned with the state and district standards and benchmarks.
