What projects are being done?  

Through the assessment process, priority projects were identified at each campus. Projects include:

  • new roofing

  • HVAC upgrades

  • a new Energy Management System (EMS) temperature control system

  • wired and wireless infrastructure upgrades

  • surveillance camera installation

  • exterior lighting upgrades

  • playground upgrades at elementary schools

The goal is to get the most value for dollars spent, and to create a comfortable classroom environment where students and teachers are only focused on learning and teaching.

When will the projects be done?  

The timeline for the overall completion of the Measure G Bond Program is five years. The majority of projects will be done over the summer months, when school is not in session.

How will this affect my student?  

Students will gain an improved learning environment. Noise and dust will be kept to a minimum for any activities during school hours. The majority of projects will be done over the summer months, when school is not in session.
